Real estate in Lancaster County for the month of September was once again very strong.  The Average Sales Price was up 9% from this time last year.  Interest rates remained steady at 2.90% and inventory numbers are very low across all price points.  The number of settled units was down 8% but that is not surprising considering the extreme lack of inventory. Homes if priced correctly sell quickly and receive multiple offers.  The strong market conditions are expected to continue into the fall.  If you are thinking about buying and/or selling a home in Lancaster County I am happy to talk with you about how the market conditions should help guide your decisions.
