Here is a look at the most recent housing stats for Lancaster County. Limited inventory continues to be a challenge in our local housing market. And despite the rise in interest rates, the Average Sale Price also rose 7% compared to this time last year. Buyer demand is still high but with rates continuing to be high and prices continuing to climb, affordability is more and more becoming a challenge. We are seeing this with an increase in price reductions where Sellers aim too high from the start and don’t receive the activity they were expecting. For Sellers it is becoming much more important to get their List Price correct.
