Here is an update on the Lancaster County housing market. The very low level of housing inventory continues to dictate the market trends, as homes are only going under contract very quickly, usually with multiple offers to choose from.  The Average Sales Price and the Average Mortgage Interest Rate both held steady compared to this time last year.  Interest rates are expected to drop as the year moves on, which should help bring more sellers to the market, which would be great news for buyers.  If you are thinking about buying and/or selling a home in Lancaster County I am happy to talk with you about how the current market conditions should help guide your decisions.
