Lancaster Real Estate Market Update – October 2016

The Market 
With summer vacations a thing of the past and the kids back to school, September is usually a great month to boost a depleted real estate inventory.   This year that boost was sorely needed here in Lancaster County, as buyers have struggled to find the home they are looking for.  In looking at the numbers below, you can see that the market was busy but not enough to feed the hungry pool of buyers!   So, that left us with a Supply of Inventory lower than it has been in 10 years.  That is great news for those homeowners who are planning to sell!
