Here is a look at the most recent housing stats for Lancaster County.  Inventory continues to show some improvement but still has a lot of room to go to help level off the large pool of buyers.  Buyers continue to be frustrated at the lack of options but they found some relief in October with slightly lower interest rates.  Overall though affordability is still a major challenge for buyers, especially for first time home buyers.  The number of settled properties is down 4% compared to this time last year, mostly due to improved interest rates and increased inventory.  As always, if you are thinking about buying and/or selling a home in Lancaster County I am happy to talk with you about how the current market conditions should help guide your decisions.
