The Lancaster County Real Estate market continued to move at a fast pace for the month of June. Pending Sales and Sold Listings both saw 10% increases compared to this time last year. New Listing numbers saw minimal change. Supply, down 27%, is still holding several Lancaster County markets back, as many Buyers are actively searching, yet they are struggling to find the right home for their needs from the available listings. New listings in most of our local markets that are priced correctly and are in move-in condition are selling quickly.
Thinking of Selling?
Now is a great time to get your home on the market as there are plenty of buyers looking and waiting for the right home to hit the market. The first step is for me to walk through your home with you so I can give advice on how best to get your home ready for the market. This might include suggesting things such as making repairs, neutralizing wall/carpet colors, decluttering and getting a pre-listing home inspection. The sooner you allow me to help, the more effective my advice can be.
Want to know what your home is worth?
Don’t rely on the information provided by popular third party websites like Zillow to tell you the value of your home. These sites are filled with inaccurate information. Allow me to help you determine the true value of your home. There is no cost for this service. Give me a call, or click here to request a personalized Home Value Report.
Thinking of Buying?
It is natural to think that the first step in searching for your next home would be to do just that, find the home. However, if you need a mortgage to help purchase the home, the best place to start is getting pre-approved. A lot has changed in the mortgage industry and making sure you can do what you want ahead of time is crucial. I am happy to recommend a local, reputable lender for you to meet with.
